Did you just soak the poha a little longer than required to make poha for breakfast. you don’t have to worry now with over soaked poha you can make Poha fritters 🙂
1 cup poha or rice flake (washed and soaked for 5minutes)
1 boiled and mashed potato
2-3 chopped green chilli
1/2 -1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 onion chopped (optional)
1 Tbsp chopped mint or coriander
Pinch of turmeric powder
Pinch of red chilli powder
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt as per taste
oil for frying
Mix and mash all the above ingredient except oil and take small portion of mixture and make them into small flat round patty. Repeat the same with the rest of the mixture.
Now in a pan heat the oil. Once the oil is hot fry the patties till it turns golden brown in color.
Once they are golden brown in color take them out and serve it with mint coriander chutney or tamarind chutney or ketchup.
